About
I am a London and Bristol, UK based Offline editor with 15 years of experience in the post production industry.
I have a wide experience of various technical processes including grouping and syncing, server management and media managing and workflows for multiple types of projects including studio filming with multiple camera shoots, drama, comedy and wildlife documentary.
I am experienced using Avid Media Composer but I am also proficient with Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Illustrator, Photoshop and Da Vinci Resolve.
I have also provided DIT and Edit support in remote locations such as South Africa, Namibia, China and the Galapagos Islands.
I am deeply passionate about editing, crafting compelling narratives, and fostering meaningful connections through the films we create. My process is driven by a focus on emotion, aiming to engage audiences and bring stories to life in impactful ways. I thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with teams to deliver projects that not only meet but exceed expectations.
I have my own editing setup so can work remotely, working on an i9 processor, 64GB of RAM and a m.2 SSD, with 1Gbps internet speed.
Teaching and outreach programme
While working on my latest project ‘Kingdom’ I acquired funding for an editing outreach programme in the location we were filming - South Luangwa National Park, Zambia. During this visit I ran a editing workshop with 10 aspiring wildlife conservation leaders at the Chipembele Wildlife Education Trust. The 10 young people learnt how to use editing software and created their own 2 minute films and 2 minute promos for the Chipembele organisation. Getting to work with these young people and sharing some of my knowledge of editing has been one of my proudest achievements.
